Is GIF Safe really free?
Yes, completely. No account, no credit card, no hidden limits. Our tools run in your browser and cost us very little to host.
Are there file size limits?
Limits are set by your device's memory, not our servers. Most modern devices handle files up to several hundred MB with ease.
Why is conversion slow sometimes?
All processing runs on your CPU. Longer videos at high quality use more resources. Reducing FPS or output size will speed things up significantly.
Can I use GIF Safe offline?
Once the page has loaded, most tools work without an internet connection. Assets are cached in your browser automatically.
